I have led a professional career in Technology and Graphics for more than 10 years. I have experience in Printing, News Media and Education. After college, my first job was a Graphic Designer for a national phone book publishing company, designing logos and yellow page ads. Then I moved into a more challenging environment working for a daily newspaper in the Pre-Press and Advertising Department. My duties there were photo editing, illustration and color correction, film development, page design, web design and ad design. I was also the night photographer on call for any late breaking stories.
Most recently I was part of a large special education organization that serves 29 school districts in eight counties. I was the Technology Specialist and Webmaster. I provided Help Desk Support for over 300 employees and faculty troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, smartphones and software applications. I also regularly installed hardware and software, managed the company email system and assisted with network and server support. I also managed our student IEP database as well as travel to the surrounding school districts and conduct inservice training on how to use our customized software. I enjoy teaching people new things about technology, especially when it's going to make their jobs easier.
